I have a question, can I let the transponder programmed for my toledo

If you are lucky it will work (lucky in this case means: the key has not been attachend to another car yet and the transponder is of the correct type for your car) - if not you can take one of the transponders out of your existing keys, e.g. the key without remote functions (just be careful not to destroy the transponder in the process - hot water helps to get the key apart and also to extract the transponder) - I had also a Skoda type transponder, but that one did not work with my Leon...

transponder in my current key can be very easily removed, i just checked
but is it easy to put it in a flip key

1. Remove the Badge on the front part of the key - e.g. with a pointed knife
2. Remove the screw underneath
3. Take the key apart (be careful the spring does not fly away )
4. Get the tranponder out of the compartment (it is glued in there - might need some brute force)
5. Put the working transponder inside (with some glue)
6. Reassemble the key (you might need to try out in which direction you have to coil the spring for the flip key to work properly)
7. Glue a new badge to the key - part number 1M0 837 891 A JGT

I just got a mail from the seller, the transponder is brand new and never programmed

You will have to wait until you get the key - mine said the same (and probably also said the truth - it's nor easy to find a working transponder)

ok good to know, I think will just use my current transponder, I do not need 3 keys

Also ich interessiere mich auch dafür mir einen Klappschlüssel zuzulegen. Hab mal nachgefragt bei meinem Seat Händler, und der meinte, sowas kann man auch sofort bei Seat bestellen. Kostet so um die 40€. Dann ist er auch schon fertig und programmiert.

Meine Frage ist nun, wie kann man sich so ein Schlüssel selber machen? Das Metallteil muss ja gefräst werden damit man es ja im Zündschloss drehen kann.

Und ist es da nicht einfacher den original Klappschlüssel von Seat zu bestellen?

ich habe schon alleine 38,60€ nur für die Sendeeinheit des normalen Schlüssels bezahlt!

Das is das was er mir gesagt hat. Er kuckt das nochmal genau nach, aber er denkt das müsste so in dem Bereich liegen.

Also DAS glaube ich auch nicht. Der Schlüsselbart inkl. Transponder kostet ca. 40 EUR und die Sendeeinheit nochmal so viel. Ich glaub der hat sich verguckt.
