ja Navi- und Radiodaten gehen über den Tacho...

Wie Geil,ist das alles ne Plug&Play sache oder muss ich da was rumlöten und welchen Tacho brauch ich genau dafür? Auch haben will !!!!!

Ja ist klar, das das ne Menge Geld ist! Interessant ist es auf jeden Fall. Wie hast du denn vor das zu realisieren? Box? Programmieren?

Und nur beim grßen FIS möglich, oder?

@Colt: Bist du technisch so ausgestattet, dass du ein G4SE Umlöt-Umbau-Software update Projekt durchziehen könntest? Also quasi das Komplettpaket?
Gut Lötarbeiten und die A3 Scheibe bwz. Tachoringe und Skalen ändern bring ich noch selber zu Stande, aber die Login-Logout Arie sicher nicht :baby:

Wenns deine Zeit zuläßt laß uns doch mal via ICQ quatschen

Also du benötigst einen Tacho ( 1J0 920 846 oder 1J5 920 846 oder 3B0 920 847)...Dann muss der 3LB vom Navi zum Tacho gezogen werden...das übliche codieren der WFS, etc...und dann läuft das...

ja geht nur mit den großen FIS und es soll über eine BOX gehen die Ihre Daten wenn möglich aus dem Motor-Can holt...momentan probieren wir an der HW rum...

i'll go to Geniom's home and we'll install the tacho and try everything else..i hope everything will work fine.. :]

i've one question..in the white connector where we'll have to link the 2 new cables to get to O.D.S. ( Open Door Symbol ) working, are there already included the "fastoms"? I hope you know fastom.. )
Or we'll have to buy them separately and install them in the connector with the 2 cables?? ?(

Please reply as soon as you can so i can go and buy them within tomorrow

never mind, i've talk with geniom and he told me that in his golf's connector are included the fastoms..i hope there will be in the leon's one too..=)

fastom is the metal part in the pin of the connector to keep the cable stopped in his right position..did you understan??can you confirm that there is in the leon's one?? ?(

hello colt, good news!!

with the help of user Geniom, we tested your tacho and my old 1j0->1j5, and both works very fine so we sold my old one at 300€ so i've take some money back.

but last friday we didn't get my leon tacho's pin, so we weren't abel to install your one..My carseller yesterday gave me the pin so this saturday Geniom and I will install it with no problems!!

i've 4 question:
1- what change did you do on your connector to get the tacho's light like the golf one?? I mean that the tacho's led turn on only when you turn on the light switch and not when you turn on the car.What pin have to be modified/replaced or so??
2- is the fog light icon activated on your tacho or did you make some changes like for the question 1??if so can you tell us what pin have to be modified ecc ecc??
3- Geniom told me that we can change the softcode with vag.In my original leon tacho i have 4104, and Geniom told that we could replace it with 23104.(with everything on - navigation too - but with no flexible service indicator and with no oil level/temperature sensor).
In my leon do i have already installed this oil sensor so that i could use 23114 instead of 23104??If not, could i install it??Do you get the ETKA code of this sensor so that i can buy it from my carseller??
4- I've tested and the 4 doors and the rear hood are displayed and working great!!But the front hood not.Is it the same in your car??Or in your car it works??If it works, can you tell me how to get it work on mine too??Maybe i haven't the sensor in the front hood..Could it be installed aftermarket??Do you get the ETKA code of this sensor so that i can buy it from my carseller??

my friend geniom is using can gateway 000006 and EVERYTHING works..(front hood open included)

the only problem is that the "red part" aren't illuminated..maybe cause this white tachosheiben isn't original and the red plastic is too "thick" and the led light can't pass through it..

OK I see...

Did you install the "Tachoscheiben" by yourself? Maybe you can hold them into the daylight, to see if they are a little bit transparent.

..but i warn you: after the order they send them after 1+1/2 months..

My car is a Seat Leon FR Limited Edition Monza 1.9 TDI 150cv!The tacho is always the same one from the "old" top sport to normal FR..=)

And then i've tried with a more powerful light and the plastic became a little lighting..i'm quite sure it's too thick for the normal tacho led..?( :nene:

Okay - well, I saw that ebay seller also when I was looking around for new dials for my speedo, but I bought them here finally: http://www.k-tec-carconcepts.de/start.htm Maybe (if the problem with the red areas bothers you too much) that would be an alternative for you... the guy I was talking/ writing to seemed very professional - as of the final quality I cannot tell you anything yet because my dial is stil on the way (approx. €90).

I was considering your seller (resp. http://www.tuningart.at) but when I hear from your problems with the dials I am really glad I did not choose that one...
