Hallo,
I live in Scotland and own a Seat Leon TDI sport.
Sorry for writing in English, altough I can speak and read German, my writing ist nicht so gut.
I imported my car from Holland July 2001 and have had problems with it ever since.
It had:
Water in the foglights
Water in the frontlights
Water in the rear lights
Water inside the car(all 4 doors leaking)
Dustparticles in the paint.
Dashboard lights for the meanbeam broke down
Rearlock broke down
Spare key couldn't start the car anymore
Clicking noises from the clutch pedal
I visited the local dealer 7 times in 8 months and even a specialist from Seat UK looked at the car.
Most problems are solved now, but even after replacing the kit in the doors, there is still water at the inside of the doorsill every morning, so I'll have to return to the dealer for the eight time.
VW designs 18 cilinder engines and super cars, but how difficult can it be to make waterproof doors for the Leon.
And they offered me to respray the car because of the dustparticles in the paint.
So now eight months later I have a new car which is leaking and needs a respray, grrrrr
This will be the last Seat (or VW product) I'll ever buy.
