Aura sound system

Hello everyone,

Sorry, I have to do this in English. Hope you don't mind.

I received last tuesday my Seat Leon TDI Cupra. It's fantastic how much power it have. When I have some money I will chiptune to 200PS & 410 Nm.

But my question today, 2 questions in fact, is about the Auro Sound system.

1) In the prog-menu I have a setting called "SMVOL #". It's not in the manual I have. Does anyone knows where it is for?

2) Is it possible to activate anyhow the display between the rpm-clock and the kmh-clock?

Hope some-one can give me some advise.

I try to answer, as good as possible.

To your second Question:

The display between rpm and kmh show you the name of the radio station. In germany there called RDS (Radio Data System) or EON (Enhanced Other Network). Try to tune a german station and look to the display. If there is nothing to read contact your car dealer.

To your first Question:

Sorry i don´t know what is this option.

the SMVOL# option in your progmenu sets the volume of traffic-announcements (TP)
if you set it to any level every traffic announcement is played at this level, at the case the radio isn't as loud as the programmed SMVOL# level.

Newer Leons´ don´t have the radio-display between rpm- and speed-clock anymore. Only models until 2001 should have it. It shows the same content as the radio display of your Aura or Brisa radio. There ist no possibility to activate it somehow, it isn´t even there.
